Motif is a focus timer app designed to help you choose one task, set a timer, and stay focused.

Your privacy matters. Motif is built to collect as little personal information as possible.

Information We Collect

Motif does not require you to create an account.

Motif may store the following information locally on your device:

• Tasks you create
• Focus sessions you complete
• Session duration and history
• Session notes, if you choose to write them
• App settings such as notification preferences and default timer duration

This information is used only to provide the app’s core features, such as focus history, stats, and session tracking.

Purchases

Motif Pro is available as a one-time in-app purchase.

Purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store and may be managed using RevenueCat. Motif does not directly collect or store your payment card details.

RevenueCat may process purchase-related information, such as your app user identifier, product purchased, entitlement status, and transaction information, in order to unlock and restore Motif Pro.

Notifications

Motif may ask for permission to send notifications.

Notifications are used for focus timer features, such as session completion alerts or focus reminders. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.

Motif does not require notifications to use the app.
