Cue: Medication Reminder ("Cue", "the app") is provided by Dhruv Pujara ("we", "us", or "our"). This policy explains how information is handled when you use Cue.

The short version

Cue is designed to keep medication information under your control. Medication records are stored on your device and, when iCloud is available and enabled, sync through your private iCloud database. We do not operate a separate server that stores your medication records. Cue does not sell personal information, show third-party advertising, or use cross-app tracking.

Information you add to Cue

You may add information such as:

• names or labels for you and people whose medications you manage;
• medication names, strength, instructions, schedules, Care Plans, and treatment dates;
• dose records, including whether a scheduled dose was marked taken;
• medication supply quantities and low-stock thresholds; and
• meal times used to calculate meal-linked schedules.

This information is entered by you. Cue does not diagnose a condition, prescribe medication, or recommend a dose.

Where medication information is stored

Cue stores its records using Apple's on-device data technologies. When iCloud is available and enabled for Cue, records sync using Apple CloudKit in the private database associated with your Apple Account. Private CloudKit data is controlled through your Apple Account and is subject to Apple's iCloud terms and privacy practices.

We do not operate an independent account system or medication-data backend, and we do not receive a copy of your medication records through Cue's normal operation.

Cue Assistant and voice input

Cue Assistant can answer supported questions about the records already stored in Cue and can perform supported actions you confirm, such as marking a dose taken.

• Supported language understanding uses Apple's on-device Foundation Models when available, with an on-device rules-based fallback.
• Optional voice input uses Apple's on-device speech transcription APIs on supported devices.
